OUR DREAM

Over ten years ago, I fell in love with a little house tucked into the hills of Linden, Virginia — nine acres, a pond, and views that felt like home the moment I saw them.

Years later, when the owner, now a friend, decided to sell, he offered it to me — and together with my partner, Cameron, we said yes.

Moving here planted a bigger dream — one rooted in community, the environment, and the beauty of simple things.

After watching the documentary Kiss the Ground, I knew I wanted to be part of something more meaningful.

HOW WE STARTED

With no farming experience but a lot of determination, I planted my first flower beds and dove headfirst into learning everything I could about growing flowers.

Through trial and error, hard work, and more than a few tears, Linden Blooms Farm slowly began to take shape.

Cameron has been by my side through it all — eventually leaving his job to work the farm full-time. It's not always easy, but he pours his heart into helping this dream grow.

Each season brings new challenges and lessons, but the blooms — and the joy they bring — are always worth it.

WHERE WE ARE NOW

Today, we grow specialty cut flowers by hand, following the natural rhythms of the seasons.

I balance farm life with my full-time career as a Controller for a mechanical contractor, raising a family, and being "Mimi" to my beautiful grandbabe.

Every flower we plant, tend, and harvest is a piece of our journey — built with love, hard work, and hope.
